If the descent speed exceeds 1.15 times the rated limit, the speed governor and tension device activate the safety gear's lifting rod, halting further descent by braking the guide rail.3). Should the ascent speed exceed 1.15 times the rated speed, the control cabinet commands the traction machine to brake, stopping any upward motion immediately.
